(18 may. 1846, San Petersburgo, Rusia–24 sep. 1920, Lausanne, Suiza).

Orfebre, joyero y diseñador ruso. Educado en Europa e Inglaterra, en 1870 se hizo cargo del negocio de joyería de su padre en San Petersburgo. Con los objetos que diseñó ganó rápidamente el patrocinio de las realezas europea y rusa. Se especializó en oro, plata, malaquita, jade, lapislázuli y piedras preciosas. No sólo fabricó joyería convencional, sino también objetos de fantasía, en su mayoría inspirados en las artes decorativas estilo Luis XVI. Abrió talleres en Moscú, Kíev y Londres. Lo que lo hizo más famoso fueron sus huevos de Pascua adornados con piedras preciosas, para Alejandro III y Nicolás II. Sus talleres fueron cerrados después de la revolución de 1917 y murió en el exilio.
